Military Candy Donations - Throughout the year, we use candies in care packages, stocking stuffers, parties, or as an addition to a special gift like a stocking stuffer or blanket. Can you help make candy bags to make this candy special?

Getting Candy on board can make a big impact - we've shared the Candy Angel story on our blog. But these sweet dishes will also delight our veterans and military families. Whether you like sweets or not, there's something special about receiving a surprise treat.

Military Candy Donations

Although we receive thousands of pounds of candy each year, especially through our annual Treats for Troops Halloween candy collection, most of the candy is empty, so we use volunteers to bag it and hand it out. This is where you can be! If you're looking for a fun and easy project, help us make candy bags!

Halloween Leftovers: Ways To Get Rid Of Extra Candy

This volunteer opportunity is open to everyone and you don't have to be or be an Angel Volunteer to participate.

Most of the time, the candy bags are included in the resupply packages sent to military personnel stationed around the world. They can also be shared with veterans at VA hospitals across the country at one of the many events our volunteers host at VA facilities. In addition, Soldiers' Angels participates in other events throughout the year in the military and veteran community, where a bag of goodness is a simple (but sweet) way to share gratitude with service members, veterans and military families.

Making candy bags is a quick and easy way to make a sweet treat for military personnel and veterans. But if you want to put together something even bigger, why not put together care packages? Check out the Placed Adoption Team or the Ladies of Liberty Team! Both of these teams create and send personalized care packages to authorized service members.

Have more questions about making candy bags? Or are you interested in organizing a large group project to participate in this volunteer activity? We are here to help. Fill out the form below and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
