Project Status: Field operations to complete the Ordnance/Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) search investigation consisting of a digital geophysical mapping survey and an intrusive anomaly survey were completed in August 2022. As a result of that field survey, it was determined that there may be munitions in the AREA / NUHO. VISITORS/WORKERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISTURB THE AREA/AREAS AND THE ABOVE MEASURES MUST BE OBSERVED.
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 18, 2021: Bellows AFS will comply with Air Force directives and begin the Trusted Traveler Sponsorship Program for everyday visitor access. Event and party rentals will still require special function contracts when booking parties and special functions.
IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVITY: Bellows AFS has aligned checkpoint access with Air Force directives by implementing ID scanning procedures to ensure the security of all our guests and resources. These procedures will require all patrons over the age of 18 to scan their ID when entering the Bellows AFS front gate. These new procedures may cause a slight delay in entry.
